Valentine's Day 5 year Anniversary

10 years together and 5 years married.  That's right got married on Valentines Day.  I am so bad with dates if it wasn't a major holiday we would both never remember it. The kids both woke up healthy and Phia actually slept until 7:00.  HEAVEN.  David got up with Logan at 5:30 and I slept in.  This was a good thing since I was up late making these.
The idea came from the crafty crow.  I made this bracelet for Phia last week.
So we came down to this.
Phia was delighted.  Logan was happy because she was.
I rained here today so the park was out. We made cookies.

Delightful!

A Little Sick and a Little Celebration

Well yesterday was splendid.  A nice walk and a shopping trip for goodies for Daddy for Valentine's Day. Got a new floor steamer/cleaner from my mom for our anniversary. Used it yesterday, works splendidly!

Then today we woke up to a sick one.  We got the cookie dough made got already to go out and the puking started. All you mothers know when the sickness takes hold the world as we know it stops.  There is no going, no resting, and no schedules.  It all goes to pot and you spend the day in a constant state of jump and run.  I did not finish the Valentine bags yet... this is how far I got...

I will finish them by tommorrow come hell or high water!
I will get back to you with the finished picture tommorrow.

Swimming

On our 3rd swimming trip Sophia did it.  With a floatie on she said "Momma I don't need you I do it myself." and she did kicked her way down the entire width of the pool and back.  Children know just how to make you feel so loved and also obsolete at the same time.

Birthday's

In a stroke of genius Mary, my mother-in-law came up with the idea to get him a bunch of little gifts to deliver everyday the week prior to his birthday.  This was a total hit!  A bit of a juggle hiding the stuff because we share cars depending on who is driving the most that day, but he is worth it.

Soaking wet and still smiling!
Routing for Michigan

He is 30!  A mere babe in the lifetime that is to come faster than we hope.  What can I say... the man of my dreams... the father all children should be lucky enough to have... a partner who shares in the house work and the headaches... who is such a master at stupid slapstick humor that I get tears and a belly ache from laughing... who will actually play Wii Just Dance with us and normally win... who's idea of a favorite restaurant in Shari's...I could go on but in a word
Love
We love him dearly.
Happy Birthday!
