Must be done!

It just got to the point when I had to step in to my office I wanted to cry just a little.  Massive massive disaster! It was time for a cleaning and wow there was soooo much stuff in there that was not MINE! Now I wanna get sewing!

Beards and all things dress up

Sophia LOVES to dress up.  She was getting ticked that the beard wouldn't stay up so hence put it into ponytails...she is genious!!

Appliance Love!

Do you have an appliance that you love?  Mine is my mixer! We love pizza and I don't mind if its home made and Sophia says mine is way better then the store :)  very happy to hear that! So tonight is pizza night and the rest of the dough will be for a loaf of bread later in the week! I feel so domestic.

Reading

I have been reading, and reading, oh yeah and reading! Sometimes there is nothing better then those last few pages when you want to be done but you want the story to never end.

14 of 48 Hand sewing

Doing a little hand sewing not sure why just sounded fun.  Got gloves cut out and one sewn but should have done a little applica first so maybe taking it apart :) I like this Alabama Studio and Design book I have her first book also.  I also made the hat from this book the adult size based on the copy ratio was tooo big the kids size fit a little better. This fabric was part of my stash acually have a skirt cut out from two random plain tshirt and the gloves were the leftovers.

Half Marathon training

Today was the walking day on the training program and Sophia begged to go with me! 3 mile walk with my 6 year old good fun!

Back to the drawing board!

Been sewing up a storm and my office is the off limits zone for kiddo stuff being used umm quite honestly as a weapon of some sort so it is in a tragic mess.  My plan is to give it time and attention this weekend...

I got a new app for my phone for blogger so we shall see if this helps me keep up on my posting it is the one thing that has really fallen by the way side that I truly miss.
